Undergraduates with strong academic skills who
are looking for further challenges are encouraged to consider the Honors Program. This
program is an interdisciplinary writing- and reading-intensive approach to intellectual
theories of the past and present in America and around the world. All courses are
team-taught by professors from different disciplines. The program's three areas of study
(Western culture, science and society, and world cultures) culminate in a capstone honors
